Florence Prestifilippo (nee: Jurkiewicz), 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Born in Sayreville, she was a long-time resident of both Jersey City and Bayonne. She was a homemaker.
Florence was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Michael’s Church, Jersey City, where she was a dedicated volunteer for countless parish functions.
Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles Prestifilippo; her loving daughters, Jane Napier, and her husband, Thomas and Anne Adamson, and her husband, Kevin; her cherished grandchildren, Thomas Napier, Tracy Napier and Mark Napier; her adoring great grandson, Collin Napier; her siblings Edward Jurkiewicz and Agnes Jurkiewicz of Sayreville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters and five brothers.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Saturday, August 12, 2017. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church in Jersey City at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will be private. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
