Miguel Angel Rivera, Sr. passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, July 30, 2017, with his loving family at his bedside. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was a Bayonne resident for over 60 years. He was a messenger for the City of New York.
Mr. Rivera is survived by his beloved wife, Dalva Rivera(nee: Rios); his loving children, Miguel Jr., Alberto, Jose, Omar, Omayra and Michael Lewis Rivera; his cherished grandchildren, Yesenia, Alberto, Miguel III, Alejandro, Adrian, Omar Rivera Jr., Angel Perez and Tony Rodriguez; and his dear siblings, Jorge, Paulina, Guillermina and Nilda Rivera.
The funeral will be held on Friday, August 4th. Family and friends are invited to attend the services from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment at Ocean View The Cemetery Beautiful, Staten Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
