Margaret Jean “Tootsie” Williams (nee: McInenly) died peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. She was born in Bayonne to the late Margaret (nee: Brooks) and Charles McInenly and was a lifelong resident. Margaret was a secretary for the Bayonne Board of Education for over 30 years and previously worked at First Savings and Loan for 15 years. She was also a member of the Young at Hearts.
Margaret is survived by her loving children, Michael Williams, and his wife Maribeth, Edward Williams, and his wife, Laurie, Laura Wicinski, and Kim Szmaida, and her husband, Mark; her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Justin, and his wife, Deneesha, Dylan, Christopher, Ryan, and his wife, Nathalie, and Timothy; her adoring great grandchild, Zyon; and her dear sibling, Carolynne Papaccio, and her husband, Blaine. She was predeceased by her dear son-in-law, Ronald Wicinski; and her loving sister, long-time Bayonne City Council Member, Dorothy Harrington.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 12, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 7:30 p.m. A private cremation will follow.
