Olga Bilyk (nee: Luba), 87, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 31, 2018, with her family at her bedside. Born in Zboriv, Ukraine, she came to the United States in 1960 and resided in Bayonne for most of her life prior to moving to Somerset . She was employed by Commercial Trust Company before retiring. Mrs. Bilyk was a former member of the Ukrainian National Home, Bayonne.
Mrs. Bilyk was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter, in 2015. She is survived by her loving children Mary Maniscalki (Anthony), Michael Bilyk (Margaret), John Bilyk, and Boguslaw “Bogie” Bilyk (Susan); her cherished grandchildren, Kerry Bilyk-Nitsche, Tracy, Nicholas, Jared and Maxwell Bilyk and Brandon and Justin Maniscalki; her adoring great grandchildren, Johnathan and Jason Nitsche and Jada Bilyk; and her dear brother, Michael Luba.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 3, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Parastas will be on Sunday at 4:00 p.m..
