Anna (Halecky) Mahalson

Anna Mahalson (nee: Halecky) passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.  She was born in Bayonne to the late Anna and Andrew Halecky and was a lifelong resident.  She was a clerk for Bell Telephone in New York City, prior to retirement.

Mrs. Mahalson is survived by her beloved husband, Peter; her loving daughter, Lori Tierney, and her husband, Joe; her cherished grandchildren, Danielle Vechione and Kaitlyn Tierney; and her adoring great grandchildren, Chase Vechione and Autumn and Brooke Novak.  She was predeceased by her beloved son, Wayne Peter Mahalson.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, October 2, 2020.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
