There are few people in this world who pass through like a comet: a celestial anomaly that yields the world to stop in its tracks, illuminate the eyes of those lucky enough to catch a glimpse, and disappear into the cosmos. Brian Law was such a person; a bright, shining star whose presence lingered; a massive presence, evoking a sublime sense of comradery. Everyone he met was his new best friend. And like staring at a comet and basking in the luminescence of its passing, Brian’s life will light up the memories of those he touched.
Brian Law passed away peacefully on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Jersey City Medical Center. He was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania to the late Margaret and William Law and was a long-time Bayonne resident. He was a salesperson for Sun Belt Rentals.

He was also a founding member of The Gutless Worms, and helped write music for the Jersey City band, Supermutt.

In the following days, weeks, months, and years, make sure to look to the stars and see them “sparkling” just a little brighter, as the brightest among them just joined the sky.
