Erma (Sari) Mutterperl

Erma S. Mutterperl (nee: Sari), 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 03, 2018.  She was born in Italy and came to the United States at the age of 2.  She was employed by Western Electric, Kearny, for 23 years, retiring in 1982.

Mrs. Mutterperl was a member of Hadassah and the Temple Emanuel Sisterhood.

Mrs. Mutterperl was predeceased by her beloved husband, Morris.  She is survived by her loving sons, Dr. Robert Edward Mutterperl, and his wife, Joan, and Steven Charles Mutterperl, and his wife, Leslie; her cherished grandchildren, Lisa M., Matthew Scott, Jeffrey Daniel and Andrew Jacob; and her dear siblings, John Sari, Ida Butkiewicz and Elsie Wasielewski.  She was also predeceased by her dear siblings, Annibale, Guido and Enrico Sari, Vera Baszczewski, Palma Felci and Yolanda Leck.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Sunday, May 6, 2018.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Fairview.  A period of mourning will be observed from Sunday to Wednesday at the Mutterperl residence.
