Iome (Simpson) Alexander

Iome Alexander passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center.  She was born in Chadbourn, NC to the late Corona (nee: McHearn) and Levi Simpson and relocated to Jersey City in 1964.  She was a dedicated employee at Bayonne Medical Center for 28 years and St. Ann’s Home for the Aged for over two years. 

Iome was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Jersey City.

She was predeceased by her late husband, Leonard Alexander, Jr.

Private services will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc.
