John Marks

On July 7, 2019, the world lost a kind and gentle soul, John Marks. He died in Bayonne Hospital. John lived in and loved Bayonne his entire life. He endured many medical problems for a long time and did so with bravery and grace. Many years ago he worked at Judicke’s making donuts. He was a very good woodworker, helped by his friend Emil. They made lovely bird houses and small tables. He was an avid wrestling fan and favored John Cena. He also loved Roscoe the dog near his Aunt El’s. Despite his diabetes, he loved desserts! He lost his loving parents, John and Julia Marks early in life. He is predeceased by his loving grandparents Mary and Peter Korh, and many aunts and uncles. He moved to a supervised apartment setting not too far away on Ave E five years ago. Thank you to all those who cared for John and showed him love and kindness. There are a few who stand out and the family is eternally grateful to you. May John rest in peace in heaven. You were an inspiration, CJ. You will be missed. V
