Nicholas Bulka

Nicholas Bulka, 99, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at his residence in Columbia, Maryland.  He was born in Bayonne and was a long-time resident prior to relocating to Maryland.  He was a truck driver for F&A for 35 years.

Mr. Bulka was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph's Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Star of the Sea Council #371. He was also a member of the Fathers’ Clubs at Marist High School and Holy Family Academy.

Mr. Bulka is survived by his beloved wife of 75 years, Mary (nee: Donovan) Bulka; his loving children, Nicholas Jr., Thomas, Robert, Daniel and Steven  Bulka and Susan deGruyl; his 14 cherished grandchildren; and three adoring great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his dear siblings, William, Andrew and Peter Bulka, Mary Goger, Anna Tomczak, Kathryn Kuspiel and Sonia Venner.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Andrew the Apostle Church on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.  Donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph Development Office, 9701 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
