Theresa (Mierzejewski) Pankowski

Theresa Pankowski (nee Mierzejewski), 88, of Bayonne, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Peace Care at St. Ann’s, Jersey City.  Born in Bayonne, Theresa was a lifelong resident. She was employed by Exxon , New York City and Linden, as a secretary for many years before retiring.

Theresa was a lover of animals especially cats and loved to catalog shop.She was also a member of the Exxon annuitants.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara Buehler and her husband, James; her cherished grandchildren, Dan and Jeff Buehler and her devoted partner, Gerald Harvey.

The funeral will be conducted from the Bayonne Memorial Home on Saturday, August 11, 2018, with visitation from 9:30 am to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at the Parish of Blessed Miriam Teresa at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church at 11:00 a.m. A private cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden. Inurnment of her cremated remains will follow at a later date at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
