William L. Burke

William L. Burke passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Jersey City Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Red Bank to the late Patricia (nee: Cooley) and Thomas Burke and was a lifelong Bayonne resident.  He was a butcher for Barth’s Market in New Providence, as well as many other local butchers and markets.

Billy was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda (nee: Kuzma) Burke; his cherished son, Michael Burke; and his dear brothers, Thomas Burke, Jr.and Richard Burke.  He is survived by his loving daughter, Dana Lin Burke; and his dear sisters, Patricia Sellitto and Kathleen Curran.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 3, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will take place at 7:30 p.m.  A private cremation will follow.
