Edward S. Komoski

October 17, 1930 ~ April 7, 2022 (age 91)


Edward S. Komoski, of East Sandwich, MA, passed away on April 7, 2022, with his loving daughter at his side.

Mr. Komoski was born in Star City, West Virginia to the late Anna (nee: Stvartak) and Leonard Komoski. He resided in Bayonne for most of his life before moving to Cape Cod five years ago.

He was an assistant to the chief engineer at Texaco, Bayonne, where he was employed for over 35 years prior to retirement.

Mr. Komoski was a Navy veteran serving in the Mediterranean during the Korean Conflict.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine (nee: McLaughlin) Komoski. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Kathleen Eckel, and her husband, Robert; and their daughter, Samantha Roberts, and her husband, Ken; and his son, Edward Komoski.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday April 14, 2022. A Prayer Service will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Good Shepherd Mausoleum, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
