Florentin Gonzalez

Florentin Gonzalez, 92, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Jersey City Medical Center. He was a native of Guatemala and had resided in the United States for over 40 years. Before retiring, he worked for Hartz Mountain Industries, and prior to that, worked as a self-employed taxicab driver.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his beloved wife, Maria (nee: Orantes); his loving children, Amparo Adornetto, Ana Velez, Carmen Condi, Yolanda Sagastume, and Andrea (Patty), Antonio, Sergio and Mario Gonzalez; 21 adoring grandchildren and 23 adoring great grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place at Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Private Cremation will follow.
