Peter P. Santoro

Peter P. Santoro passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023.  He was born in Bayonne to the late Theresa (nee: Lachman) and Domenico Santoro and was a lifelong resident.  He was a chemical operator for ICI in Bayonne prior to retirement.

Peter was an avid comic book fan and card collector, especially Spiderman, and a big fan of the Byrds and the Yankees.  He was also a devoted animal advocate.

Peter is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (nee: Micek) Santoro; his loving children, Justin Santoro and Jamie Santoro, and her husband, Hunter Mila; his cherished granddaughter, Layla Mila; his dear twin sister, Pamela Santoro; his dear brothers, John Santoro, and his spouse, Michele, and Genaro, and his spouse, Sam; his adoring niece, Jessica; and his dear nephews, Christopher and Jason.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Private cremation will follow.  Please omit flowers.  Donations may be made to the Hudson County Animal League.
